Happy New Year!

I have just realised how long it's been since I last posted on here. I guess that when Christmas comes around, time just flies by and before you know if, it's Spring! Although, I know it's not Spring yet... that's just wishful thinking. Anyway, Happy New Year to you all - hope you had a wonderful Christmas :)

As far as looking ahead to this year goes, I have a handful of the usual exhibitions to apply to. I am considering a different approach to Art on the Prom this year, having taken part in this exhibition a number of times now - possibly exhibiting more prints than originals as these seem to fit in more with people's price range at this event. I guess I won't know until I try it as to whether that's a good idea or not!

The more important thing this year however is that I don't leave the actual painting until the Summer. I have a tendency to leave the bulk of my painting until the weather gets nice when the days are longer, but then always regret it... because the weather's nice! The trouble is (in a good way) that I sold quite a few paintings last year, so my 'stock' is running pretty low! I just need to paint, paint, paint...
